Job Summary

Job Title: Salesforce Trainer / Administrator
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview
Our client, a rapidly scaling manufacturing company, is standing up Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud) from the ground up in partnership with a an implementation partner. As they finalize their Salesforce contract and prepare for go-live, they are now hiring a Salesforce Trainer / Administrator to join their lean Revenue Operations team in a high-impact, high-visibility role.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an enablement professional who is energized by training, driving adoption, and helping a traditionally tech-averse user-base adopt new tools. While Salesforce admin/configuration experience is helpful, the highest priority is someone who excels in training and driving user adoption—especially across a distributed, field-based sales organization.

Key Responsibilities
Training & Adoption (Primary Focus – 70%)

  • Design and deliver scalable, engaging training programs (preference for virtual, and on-demand) tailored to outside sales reps and district managers.
  • Build a phased “train-the-trainer” rollout strategy for 12 districts, district managers and ~150 users.
  • Develop simple, accessible user guides, video tutorials, and communications to support change management and tool adoption.
  • Identify and nurture “champion users” across districts to reinforce usage and cultural buy-in.
  • Coach senior, less tech-comfortable sales reps through Salesforce basics with empathy and clarity.
  • Reinforce Salesforce as a value-adding tool for revenue generation—not just a reporting tool.

Salesforce Administration (30%)

  • Partner with the Head of RevOps and the implementation partner during early-stage requirements gathering and configuration.
  • Execute light Salesforce admin tasks: user setup, permission adjustments, minor field/config changes.
  • Monitor user engagement and identify pain points, enhancements, or retraining needs.
  • Create and maintain basic reports/dashboards for users and executive leadership.
  • Support integrations between Salesforce and the client’s ERP system (managed by partner).

Skills & Experience
Must-Have:

  • 1–2 years’ experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud preferred), ideally as an Admin or Power User.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering user training (especially to field-based or non-technical audiences).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with skeptical or change-resistant users.
  • Comfort with leading group sessions both virtually and in person.
  • Ability to break down complex concepts into clear, digestible steps.
  • Self-starter mentality; thrives in fast-paced, lean environments without a playbook.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working within Sales, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Enablement functions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce reporting, dashboards, or data analysis tools.
  • Exposure to ERP integrations or manufacturing industry CRMs
  • Exposure to working in the manufacturing, engineering or similar industries is helpful
  • Prior experience supporting a phased CRM rollout across multiple regions or business units.
  • Background in content/resource development, change communications, or performance enablement.

Future Growth & Trajectory
This role is built for long-term growth. The client is seeking someone they can grow into a more senior Salesforce, Sales Enablement, or RevOps leader over time. Functionality is already mapped through 2028, and the future-state vision includes:

  • Sales enablement content management and delivery
  • Integrated sales technologies and workflow automations, involving deeper reporting, forecasting, and performance analytics
