As a team, you’ll often find High Trailers out on the golf course or the pickleball court, focusing on collaboration through sport.

But this week, during our team meet-up in Annapolis, we opted for a different kind of challenge: an improv class!

It was a refreshing change of pace to step into a completely different kind of arena and approach teamwork from a new angle in a unique, unscripted environment.

Improv requires complete faith in your teammates. It’s a lesson in having each other’s backs and offering instant, positive support. The principle of “Yes, and…” asks that we accept and build on each other’s ideas immediately, which is essential for creative problem-solving and partnership for any team.

The experience was really fun, and it strengthened the collaborative energy we aim to bring to every interaction with our clients and members.
