Job Summary

Job Title: Salesforce Trainer (Contract or Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Hybrid – NYC OR DC local 
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with potential for full-time hire
Start Date: ASAP

Context:

Our client, a mission-driven financial institution, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Trainer to support the rollout and adoption of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) across their banking operations. The ideal candidate brings both Salesforce expertise and deep knowledge of financial services workflows, with a passion for helping users maximize system functionality and efficiency.

This role is key to enabling business users—including relationship managers, retail bankers, operations staff, and executives—to confidently and effectively use Salesforce FSC as part of their daily work.

Responsibilities: 

* Design and deliver tailored Salesforce FSC training programs to various business units across the bank.
* Create and maintain training materials such as guides, process flows, quick-reference cards, eLearning content, and hands-on workshops.
* Facilitate live virtual and in-person training sessions for onboarding, system enhancements, and new feature rollouts.
* Collaborate closely with Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Business Analysts to stay informed on new functionality and business requirements.
* Support change management initiatives and help drive system adoption across diverse user groups.
* Conduct post-training assessments and user feedback sessions to iterate and improve the learning experience.
* Serve as a trusted Salesforce knowledge partner and advocate for user success.

Required Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience delivering Salesforce training programs.
* Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
* Direct experience supporting users in financial services and banking, including workflows for relationship management, lending, onboarding, and customer lifecycle.
* Ability to create engaging and accessible training content for both technical and non-technical users.
* Excellent facilitation, communication, and documentation skills.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt training programs to meet evolving business needs.
* Salesforce Administrator Certification and/or FSC Accreditation.
