Job Title: Salesforce Business Analyst (BA)

Reports To: AVP, Salesforce Platform
Context:
We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst (BA) to join our growing Salesforce team and help drive the continuous evolution of our Salesforce ecosystem, which includes Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, and Copado. This role will bridge business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that Salesforce capabilities align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value.
The Salesforce BA will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and partners to analyze requirements, optimize processes, and ensure successful delivery of platform enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted liaison between business units (e.g., contact centers, branches, marketing) and Salesforce technical teams.
* Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements related to Salesforce FSC, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, MuleSoft integrations, and Copado DevOps.
* Map out current and future state business processes and identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce capabilities for efficiency, automation, and improved customer/member experience.
* Support the AVP, Salesforce Platform in project delivery — from discovery through testing, training, and post-deployment support.
* Assist in defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and test plans; coordinate and execute UAT.
* Partner with Salesforce Admin, Architect, and developers to ensure solutions meet business needs and are scalable and supportable.
* Contribute to data integrity efforts and platform governance initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies
* Strong experience gathering and analyzing requirements for complex Salesforce environments.
* Hands-on experience with FSC, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft integrations, and awareness of Copado processes.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to translate technical concepts for business users.
* Process mapping and business process reengineering experience.
* Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations.
* Familiarity with Agile delivery practices.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of Salesforce Business Analyst experience, preferably in financial services or similarly regulated industries.
* Proven track record delivering Salesforce projects involving integrations, automation, and customer/member engagement tools.
* Salesforce certifications (Admin, BA, FSC, or similar) preferred.
