Application Analyst (Oracle Fusion Financials)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and optimize Oracle Fusion Financials, focusing on Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Collaborate with finance and business units to understand and refine financial workflows such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and accounting procedures.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Act as a functional liaison, translating complex business requirements into system functionalities, emphasizing process flow understanding over technical configuration.
• Assist in system integrations and contribute to the successful go-live of new financial systems for multiple entities.

Required Skills:

• Strong background in accounting and finance, with understanding of financial processes and workflows.
• Experience with General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Record-to-Report cycles.
• Proficiency in translating business requirements into system functionalities.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and support end-users effectively.
• Solid understanding of how financial processes flow through Oracle Fusion Financials or similar ERP systems.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience working with or implementing Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or other financial systems is a plus.
• Experience in a cross-functional role that involves both finance expertise and system understanding.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a transition into ERP systems support or implementation.
• Prior experience supporting Oracle ERP systems, especially Oracle Fusion Financials, is highly desirable.
