High Trail Celebrates David Foust Completing IRONMAN Maryland

At High Trail, we love celebrating the people behind our business and the things that matter to them outside of work.

This week, we’re celebrating an incredible achievement from High Trailer David Foust, who completed Ironman Maryland in Cambridge, MD.

140.6 miles to the finish line

Completing a full Ironman is no small challenge. David’s day started with a 2.4-mile swim in the Choptank River, followed by a 112-mile bike ride through the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and finished with a full 26.2-mile marathon through downtown Cambridge.

That’s 140.6 miles in total, following months of training, preparation and commitment.

David wasn’t doing it alone on race day.

High Trailers Pat, Nick, Emma and George made the trip to Cambridge to support him, cheering him on throughout the day and giving him some extra motivation when he needed it most.

As David put it, seeing the High Trail crew along the course helped motivate him through the pain of the marathon!

Congratulations, David, on an incredible achievement. Ironman complete!
