FSC Salesforce Solution Architect

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) Solution Architect to join our growing technology team at [Bank Name], a mid-sized, customer-centric financial institution committed to innovation and digital transformation. As a key member of our Salesforce transformation initiative, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure Salesforce FSC solutions that align with our business goals, regulatory needs, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Design
  • Design end-to-end Salesforce FSC architecture aligned with banking industry best practices and the bank’s enterprise architecture standards.
  • Define technical and functional architecture, ensuring optimal use of Salesforce platform capabilities including FSC data model, process automation, and integrations.
  • Translate complex business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.
• Implementation & Delivery
  • Lead architectural discussions with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and external partners.
  • Oversee technical delivery across all phases — from discovery and design to development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Guide configuration and customization using Apex, LWC, Flow, and other Salesforce tools as needed.
• Integration & Data
  • Design and manage integration strategies between Salesforce FSC and core banking systems, data warehouses, and third-party applications using APIs and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FFIEC, GDPR, CCPA).
• Governance & Best Practices
  • Define and enforce Salesforce development and deployment standards.
  • Support the development of governance processes including release management, CI/CD pipelines, and sandbox strategy.
  • Conduct solution reviews, technical assessments, and health checks.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with business units such as Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Lending, and Compliance to understand strategic goals and translate them into technical roadmaps.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce FSC capabilities and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of Salesforce platform experience, with at least 3 years focused on Financial Services Cloud.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead in Salesforce FSC implementations, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Deep understanding of the FSC data model, client onboarding, financial accounts, and household management.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and SOQL.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
• Solid understanding of banking business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Salesforce certifications required:
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (or progress toward CTA)
  • Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II (preferred)
