Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced IT Project Manager to Lead Change and Drive Growth
Our client, a leading organization in their industry, is seeking a dynamic and highly organized IT Project Manager to join their team. This pivotal role offers the chance to bring order to a high-paced, fast-growing environment by leading critical process improvements, operational modernization efforts, and technology implementations. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, including a principal with extensive cross-departmental influence, to ensure major initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively while establishing scalable processes and systems for future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects focused on process reengineering, technology upgrades, and operational enhancements.
- Evaluate, select, and implement project management tools and methodologies, building a structured approach from the ground up.
- Drive multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritizing tasks and maintaining accountability across teams.
- Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver solutions that modernize and streamline workflow.
- Bring clarity to chaotic environments by establishing repeatable workflows, defining project scope, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in process reengineering, operational modernization, and tech-enabled project delivery.
- Strong proficiency with multiple project management tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills—sharp, tactfully assertive, and reliable.
- Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced work environments effectively.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience evaluating and implementing new systems or coordinating with third-party vendors.
- Knowledge of current project management trends and emerging tools.
- Experience in high-growth or rapidly evolving environments.
- Facilitation skills for stakeholder alignment and team collaboration.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
- Prior experience partnering with senior leadership and managing strategic initiatives.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work in Philadelphia, PA or New York, NY, ideally accessible to both locations.
- Ability to start as soon as the beginning of January.
- Strong references and completion of testing (as part of the vetting process).
