Data Analytics Engineer

Our client is seeking a dynamic Data Analytics Engineer to help transform data into actionable insights within a connected data and product ecosystem.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a team of skilled engineers and contribute to measuring and demonstrating the value of business performance through advanced analytics, reporting, and metrics development.

The successful candidate will focus on creating business-relevant insights related to ROI, operational efficiency, and performance metrics that can be leveraged to enhance customer value and support strategic decision-making.

Required experience:

• Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in building analytics, reporting views, and defining key business metrics.
• The ideal individual will have a creative approach to identifying what metrics matter most, especially around ROI, performance, conversion, and operational effectiveness, rather than merely executing predefined specifications.
• Light data engineering skills—including basic pipeline work—are also required.

Desirable Experience:

• Healthcare data experience is a plus but not essential.
• Familiarity with tools such as Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb, Jaeger, or similar observability and analytics platforms would be beneficial.

This role requires being onsite in Palo Alto three days per week (TWT).
