Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY The Data Analyst drives data-driven decision-making by building and maintaining data warehouses, creating dynamic reports, and delivering insightful visualizations using tools like Power BI. Collaborating across teams, this role resolves reporting issues, documents requirements, and supports users with training and guidance. Focused on data governance and staying ahead of trends, the analyst contributes to seamless data solutions that empower teams and enhance organizational performance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Data Management & Reporting: • Build and maintain data warehouses, dynamic reports, and ad hoc reports. • Compile and prepare data for customer analysis. Visualization & Analysis: • Provide expertise on the capabilities and functionalities of visualization tools, with a focus on Power BI. • Contribute to guidelines and user interface standards for visualization techniques and analytic dashboards. Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: • Work with user groups to identify reporting issues and enhancements. • Document and translate business requirements for reporting and visualization needs. Project Participation: • Serve as a member of project teams or work independently on data-related projects. Training & Support: • Support and train internal users on data tools and processes as needed. Continuous Learning: • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in data analysis, Microsoft Fabric, and related technologies. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data visualization and analysis using tools like Power BI. • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and CSS, along with web technologies like .NET, ASP, JSON, and XML. • Experience with technologies including Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SSIS Reporting, Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, Excel, Power Query, and Power Pivot. • Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and extraction. • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with expertise in Microsoft Fabric. • Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure. • Experience with Azure DevOps Git for version control. • Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices
