Job Summary

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager – Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP / Solution Architect to serve as the design authority for a global finance transformation from NetSuite to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.

This is a design, implementation, and run role. You will lead the solution architecture and hands-on configuration of Oracle Fusion Financials, drive the organization through go-live, and remain responsible for the platform in production. The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle Fusion configuration expertise with strong accounting and finance operations knowledge.

The environment supports a global data-center business with significant capital-project activity, multi-entity operations, intercompany accounting, and multi-currency requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end architecture and solution design for the transition from NetSuite to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
  • Lead hands-on configuration across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, and Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
  • Design chart of accounts, ledgers, legal entities, multi-entity structures, multi-book accounting, and multi-currency capabilities.
  • Lead finance-system design through implementation, data migration, cutover, testing, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Controllers, IT leadership, and implementation partners to translate business and accounting requirements into scalable Oracle solutions.
  • Support project and capital accounting processes from project cost through capitalization and asset creation.
  • Lead solutions for intercompany accounting, reconciliation, close and consolidation, and other complex global finance processes.
  • Support the transition of consolidation and planning capabilities from NetSuite CMC / NSPB to the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
  • Oversee data conversion using tools such as FBDI and HDL, along with reporting through BI Publisher and OTBI.
  • Work with integration teams on Oracle integrations, including MuleSoft, and supporting solutions such as BlackLine.
  • Own the Oracle Fusion platform following go-live, including quarterly releases, patch management, testing, security, role design, segregation of duties, incidents, enhancements, and production support.
  • Provide technical leadership and governance across the Finance IT landscape and implementation partner ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in ERP, Finance IT, enterprise applications, or solution architecture.
  • Deep, hands-on experience configuring Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials.
  • Demonstrated configuration experience across:
    • General Ledger
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Fixed Assets
    • Cash Management
    • Intercompany
    • Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
  • Proven experience leading an end-to-end ERP migration, ideally from NetSuite to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance operations, including AP, AR, fixed assets, intercompany, cash management, month-end close, and consolidation.
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, and capital-project accounting.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion data conversion, testing, cutover, and production support.
  • Experience managing Oracle quarterly releases and patch testing.
  • Strong understanding of ERP security, role design, and segregation of duties.
  • Ability to operate as the senior technical design authority while communicating effectively with Finance and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Experience with BlackLine, MuleSoft, BI Publisher, and OTBI.
  • Experience with EPM, consolidation, and planning solutions.
  • Experience supporting global organizations with significant capital-project or asset-intensive operations.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has successfully taken an Oracle Fusion implementation from architecture and hands-on configuration through go-live and into production ownership.

You should be comfortable sitting with Controllers and Finance leaders to understand how the business actually operates, translating those requirements into Oracle configuration, and then continuing to own the platform after implementation.

This is not a pure implementation, advisory, or administration role. We are looking for someone who can design the solution, make configuration decisions, lead the implementation, own go-live, and ultimately run the platform.
