Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced JIRA Administrator / JIRA Cloud Transformation Consultant to lead the administration, optimization, and transformation of enterprise JIRA environments. This role will have deep hands-on experience supporting JIRA Data Center while helping drive the organization’s transition to Atlassian Cloud, including architecture, migration planning, configuration, data migration, integrations, governance, and user adoption.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical JIRA administration skills with proven experience executing JIRA Data Center-to-Cloud transformations within complex enterprise environments. The consultant will partner with engineering, product, PMO, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders to establish a scalable and well-governed Atlassian platform.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on JIRA administration experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience administering JIRA Data Center.
- Proven experience with JIRA Cloud administration and architecture.
- Demonstrated experience with JIRA Data Center-to-JIRA Cloud migrations or transformations.
- Experience planning and executing large-scale JIRA migrations involving complex configurations and integrations.
- Strong understanding of JIRA workflows, schemes, permissions, issue types, screens, custom fields, boards, dashboards, and automation.
- Experience with Atlassian administration and enterprise governance.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
