Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Specialist to join a dynamic IT team supporting a global organization. This role offers the opportunity to be the frontline in providing technical assistance, managing user onboarding and offboarding, and administering critical identity and access management systems. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth IT operations for a mid-sized organization, working independently in a remote setting to deliver reliable support across multiple platforms.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in an IT support role
- Proven expertise in supporting macOS and Windows environments
- Strong proficiency with Okta and Google Workspace
- Experience with SAML, SSO, and identity provider configuration
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Jamf
- AWS administration skills, including IAM and role provisioning
- Experience with GitHub and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Familiarity with Cloudflare Zero Trust / WARP and 1Password management
- SCIM provisioning and email security protocols (SPF/DKIM)
- VPN setup and management
- Ability to support collaboration tools such as Slack and Zoom
- Basic familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor
- A strong inclination toward security and operational reliability
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional experience in cloud administration or cybersecurity
- Certifications related to IT management or security
- Prior work supporting organizations of similar size
- Knowledge of further AI tools or security protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Relevant certifications or training in IT support, cloud management, or security
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in IT support, ideally supporting remote or distributed teams
