Job Summary
Our client, a fast-growing healthcare technology firm, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support their connected data and product ecosystem. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with data and engineering teams to ensure data availability, structure, and quality that drive actionable insights and support advanced analytics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing raw healthcare and system data, developing scalable ETL pipelines, and creating efficient data storage and projection layers for downstream use. You will work closely with data analytics teams to extract and deliver the necessary data for reporting and metric development, ensuring seamless data aggregation across multiple partners with differing data structures. Additionally, this role involves some data governance responsibilities, supporting the integrity and security of data assets within a GCP environment utilizing open-source tools.
Required skills include
- 5-7 years of data engineering experience
- Proficiency in building data pipelines, and strong knowledge of data management and structuring principles.
- While UI development experience is a plus, it is not required
- Healthcare data experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with GCP is also advantageous.
This position requires on-site presence in Palo Alto three days a week, with a flexible work environment otherwise. Candidates with a strong technical background and a passion for building scalable data solutions are encouraged to apply and take the next step in their data engineering career.
