Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to support large-scale SAP carve-out, divestiture, and business separation programs across Europe. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex architecture initiatives that involve multiple SAP and non-SAP applications, ensuring seamless separation while maintaining operational continuity and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will play a critical role in defining and executing the end-to-end separation strategy, overseeing solution design, and providing governance throughout the program lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years of SAP solution architecture experience, with a strong focus on transformation, divestiture, merger, and carve-out programs
- Proven success leading SAP carve-out programs across multiple European countries and legal entities
- Deep expertise in SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and associated technologies such as SAP Integration Suite, SAP Identity Services, and SAP security frameworks
- Strong knowledge of SAP Basis, infrastructure architecture, cloud platforms, and security controls
- Experience designing and governing complex integrations utilizing APIs, IDocs, RFCs, middleware, and third-party platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies across diverse landscapes, including ERP, HR, procurement, finance, security, and reporting systems
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement with executive leadership, legal teams, and external partners
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certifications such as SAP Enterprise Architect, SAP Activate, TOGAF
- Experience with SAP RISE transformations and M&A separation methodologies
- Consulting background in large-scale global transformation programs
- Knowledge of regional data residency, GDPR, and compliance regulations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related fields
- Extensive experience leading end-to-end SAP separation initiatives in a multinational context, preferably over a span of 12+ years with hands-on architecture and governance roles
