Junior Salesforce Developer (Financial Services Cloud)
Location: Park Avenue, New York, NY (near Grand Central) | Hybrid, onsite Tuesday through Thursday
Type: Contract-to-hire or long-term contract
Client: Leading New York City bank
About the Role
Our banking client is growing its Salesforce Financial Services Cloud team and is looking for a junior developer to support ongoing build and enhancement work. You will join an established team that includes a Product Owner, QA, and fellow developers, with the group reporting into the bank’s Digital Transformation and CTO organizations.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Financial Services Cloud
- Develop and customize using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative tools
- Work with the Product Owner to translate user stories into technical solutions
- Partner with QA on testing, defect resolution, and release readiness
- Support data model updates, integrations, and configuration changes
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
- Follow change management, security, and compliance standards expected in a regulated banking environment
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Solid experience with Sales Cloud
- Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flows
- Familiarity with version control and deployment tools (Git, Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or similar)
- Experience working on an Agile team
- Able to work onsite in Midtown Manhattan Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
- Prior work with a banking, wealth management, or other financial services client
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
- Exposure to integrations via REST/SOAP APIs or middleware such as MuleSoft
